The British gaming and wagering sector is preparing for its inaugural Responsible Gaming Week, scheduled for October 12th to 18th. This extensive endeavor, spearheaded by the industry’s Responsible Gaming Group, will witness engagement from betting outlets, bingo establishments, and casinos – both digital and land-based – encompassing over 10,000 venues and 121,000 staff members.

This undertaking highlights a renewed emphasis on advocating for responsible gaming throughout the sector. By collaborating, businesses intend to elevate awareness regarding the hazards linked to gambling and furnish patrons with the resources necessary to engage in wagering safely and responsibly.

Sir Christopher Kelly, who heads the Responsible Gambling Strategy Board, stressed the significance of public involvement in enhancing gambling safety. He applauded the week’s theme, “Let’s Discuss Responsible Gaming,” deeming it a vital stride in gleaning insights from the encounters of gamblers and their relatives.
