A prominent iGaming and sports wagering data and content provider, Cipher Sports Technology Group, has teamed up with Times Leader Media Group, a leading Pennsylvania newspaper. This strategic alliance seeks to establish a dedicated sports betting section within the Times Leader platform, offering readers a comprehensive and captivating experience.

Cipher Sports will utilize its proficiency to furnish insightful forecasts, analysis, and pertinent information on both professional and collegiate athletic competitions. This collaboration will bolster the Times Leader’s reporting on local and national sporting events, providing readers with valuable perspectives and an interactive platform to engage with the thrilling realm of sports wagering.

Times Leader Media Group publisher, Kerry Miscavage, conveyed enthusiasm for the partnership, emphasizing the dedication to delivering a dynamic and immersive sports betting platform for their Pennsylvania audience. By merging their journalistic expertise with Cipher Sports’ cutting-edge predictive analytics, they aspire to elevate their sports coverage to unprecedented levels.

Pennsylvania possesses one of the most well-established sports betting markets nationwide, being among the initial states to authorize sports wagering following the Supreme Court’s ruling in May 2018. The state introduced online and mobile betting in May 2019 and has progressively refined its regulatory structure, including the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board’s implementation of a self-exclusion program.

Adam Fiske, the top dog at Cipher Sports Technology Group, was pumped about their recent collaboration with the Times Herald. He believes that by merging Cipher’s analytical prowess with the Times Herald’s extensive audience, they’ll elevate the sports wagering experience for their customers.

He stressed that both organizations have a common goal – to build a platform that’s not simply about placing a wager, but about making informed bets based on reliable data.

To launch the venture, the Times Herald is going full throttle with a focused marketing campaign directed specifically at their readership. And it seems the timing couldn’t be more favorable. A new study revealed that while total gambling earnings in Pennsylvania witnessed a robust 9% rise in July, sports betting in particular skyrocketed with a massive 48% surge!
