MGM Resorts International’s digital gaming platform, BetMGM, has achieved a distinguished mark of recognition from the Responsible Gambling Council (RGC). This accreditation, referred to as the RG Check, is granted following a comprehensive evaluation that meticulously examines an entity’s dedication to responsible gaming principles.
BetMGM’s online platforms spanning the United States, Ontario, and Bogota were all encompassed in the assessment. The review scrutinized various facets of their operations, encompassing staff training initiatives, safeguards for players, and existing protocols and procedures.
The Chief Executive Officer of BetMGM, Adam Greenblatt, conveyed his satisfaction in attaining this acknowledgment, underscoring their commitment to advancing responsible gaming and prioritizing the welfare of their patrons. He emphasized their ongoing collaboration with the RGC and other involved parties to cultivate a secure and responsible gaming atmosphere.
It is noteworthy that BetMGM maintains a longstanding alliance with GameSense, an organization renowned for promoting open and supportive dialogues regarding responsible gaming. This partnership, renewed in March 2023, integrates GameSense resources into BetMGM’s platforms and ensures their prominent visibility at MGM Resorts properties.
Across its platforms in North America, BetMGM has achieved responsible gaming accreditation. Shelly White, CEO of RGC, commended the organization’s commitment to player well-being and responsible gaming practices. She stressed the significance RGC places on BetMGM’s endeavors.
This follows BetMGM’s reaction to suggested US legislation that might result in a complete prohibition on advertising related to wagering.
