Chilean gaming operators Delight and Visions have declared a union, which will grant the combined organization control of 58% of the nation’s market share.
Delight will be the name of the merged entity, with its investors owning 36% of the new firm. Visions’ leadership will possess the remaining ownership.
The new organization will aim to expand its operations across South America, opening eateries, lodgings, and event centers in cities in Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Panama, and Colombia, as well as Chile.
The agreement is anticipated to finalize within the next 12 months, contingent upon approval from regulators in Chile and other impacted nations.
Visions CEO Claudio Fischer stated, “The merged company will combine the expertise of both organizations and possess robust financial strength, which will enable it to confront the impact of the pandemic and the new challenges that the development of new technologies brings to the Latin American gaming and entertainment sector.”
Delight CEO Henry Cumber added, “The union of Visions and Delight will solidify the leadership position of a Chilean company in the Latin American gaming industry.”
Chile recently unveiled groundbreaking figures for October 2021 concerning gaming income and tax contributions.
