Cleary Gaming is initiating a fresh mentorship initiative for women in the gaming sector, dubbed iGB Ascend. This program will assist women in cultivating leadership abilities, bolstering self-assurance, and forging connections with other women in the field.
The unveiling event will take place on April 13th at 12:30 p.m. in the ICC Capital Suite at ExCeL London. Attendees can anticipate a networking luncheon and roundtable discussions.
Naomi Barton, Portfolio Director at iGB, stated that the program must address the genuine requirements of women in the industry. She desires to hear from women about their experiences and ensure the program is facilitating their career progression.
To accomplish this key objective, the inaugural gathering will feature prominent industry leaders as facilitators. These individuals have a profound grasp of industry matters and obstacles. The facilitators will guide and steer roundtable discussions during a casual luncheon, examining how Ascend can empower women within the industry.
Barton further stated that the event aspires to “establish an Ascend committee composed of female founding members, backed by an advisory board, to assist us in outlining our operational scope.
“We possess robust marketing channels and will be promoting iGB Ascend throughout the year through Clarion Gaming’s diverse engagement channels, encompassing events, digital and print media, to deliver content, insights, networking opportunities, learning resources, and support.”
