Consumers placed a total of $1.39 billion (GBP 1.13 billion/EUR 1.32 billion) on sporting events through mobile devices in April, down from $1.63 billion in March.

Gross gaming income from portable sports betting in April was $104.1 million, steady from the preceding month.

FanDuel Group, a Flutter Entertainment company, remained the market leader with $63.6 million in revenue and $599.5 million in handle.

DraftKings came in second with $19.6 million in revenue and $327.1 million in handle, followed by Caesars Sportsbook with $11.8 million in revenue and $215.7 million in handle.

BetMGM was next with $5 million in revenue and $142.2 million in total handle, followed by Rush Street Interactive with $1.8 million in revenue and $38 million in handle.

PointsBet had $1.5 million in revenue and $53.2 million in handle, while WynnBet had $518,705 in revenue and $9.4 million in player handle and Resorts World had $335,808 in revenue and $5.8 million in handle.

Recent monthly data from Betting Hero, a mobile gaming customer acquisition firm, reveals that New York mobile sports bettors utilize an average of 3.3 applications to place wagers, contrasted with 2.8 in New Jersey.

Shifting focus to operators, when requested to list as many real-money online sports betting platforms as possible, 63% of sports bettors incorporated DraftKings on their list, slightly exceeding FanDuel’s 58%.

DraftKings was also ranked as the most favored sports betting platform by 29% of consumers, followed by FanDuel at 28%. BetMGM and Caesars secured the third and fourth positions as the most popular websites, garnering 12% and 10% of the votes, respectively.
